Galveston Island State Park

  • 14901 Farm to Market Road 3005 Galveston, TX, 77554 United States (map)

Our team will be returning to Galveston Island State Park to assist with a major planting initiative!

Join us for a rewarding day of conservation work as we partner with other environmental organizations to restore the coastal prairie at Galveston Island State Park. Volunteers will help plant native plants grown in the park’s nursery, contributing to the protection and revitalization of this vital ecosystem.

  • Who can participate: Open to all ages.

  • Student volunteers: Eligible for signed volunteer hours.

  • Provided: Lunch, work vests, gloves, sunscreen, and bug spray for all volunteers.

All volunteers will have free entry into the state park for the day. After volunteering, take some time to stick around and enjoy swimming at the beach, fishing in the bay, or some beautiful hikes through the marshes!

Final event details will be sent via email on Thursday, September 26.

Help make a difference in preserving our beautiful coastal environment—sign up today!
