🌿 Volunteer Day: Help Out at Purtis Creek State Park 🌿

Looking for a day of outdoor impact, fun, and community? Join us on Saturday, September 27, for a special volunteer project as part of our Parks For All initiative—helping make Texas State Parks more accessible for everyone.

No experience? No problem. Whether it’s your first time volunteering or your tenth, you’ll be part of a supportive team making a big difference—and having a great time doing it.

🛠️ You’ll be part of:

  • Leveling and improving 4 wheelchair-accessible campsites

  • Helping apply a protective polymer coating to prevent erosion

  • Supporting universal access so more families can enjoy the outdoors

📍 Location: Purtis Creek State Park
📅 Date & Time: Saturday, September 27 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and bring a reusable water bottle. We’ll provide all tools, guidance, and snacks for the day.

📧 Final project details will be emailed 2 days before the event to all registered volunteers.

Bring the whole family (kids welcome with parent supervision) and help build a park that works for everyone. Spots are limited—sign up now!
