Volunteer Weekend: Help Out at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area

Looking for a weekend of outdoor impact, fun, and community? Join us Saturday and Sunday, August 30–31, for a special volunteer project helping prepare newly acquired parkland for future conservation work.

No experience? No problem. Whether it’s your first time volunteering or your tenth, you’ll be part of a supportive team making a big difference—and having a great time doing it.

🛠️ You’ll be part of:

• Clearing debris and prepping trails for restoration

• Learning directly from park staff during guided experiences

• Relaxing with fellow volunteers and enjoying the park

Location: Enchanted Rock State Natural Area
Date & Time: Saturday, August 30 – Sunday, August 31 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM both days
Optional camping available Friday, August 29 – Monday, September 1

☀️ Dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and bring a reusable water bottle. We’ll provide all tools, plus lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday.

📧 Final project details will be emailed 2 days before the event to all registered volunteers.
