GOA heads down to Galveston Island once again!

The park has a pavilion that needs to be restored. Our plan is to pressure wash and paint the pavilion over the weekend. There may be some additional items that need to be addressed at the pavilion as well.

Additionally there is a fence that needs to be rebuilt by the Nature Center and some other cleanup work around the park.

Our goal is for this to be a TWO-DAY volunteer event, with some overnight camping on the beach. We’re still working out the details to see if this will be available, so stay tuned for more details.

If you’re interested in joining, please sign up EACH person below individually so we can get an accurate headcount for groceries.
