Brazos Bend State Park has recently acquired 302 acres of new land. They intend to build a brand new archery range for their guests, but the area is severely overgrown with vegetation.

Come join us as we tackle some landscaping to clear up the area for development! Due to severe heat, we will aim to get started at 8:00 AM, and finish no later than 12:00 PM noon.

• Tools and protective gear provided

• Water, sodas and sports drinks provided

• Lunch will be provided

While this event will be open to families, we ask that you be aware of potential extreme heat if you’re bringing the kiddos.

We will have a covered canopy with chairs as a rest station for our volunteers.
