Volunteer Opportunity: Greenhouse Work at Galveston Island State Park
We’re kicking off a new recurring monthly volunteer day at Galveston Island State Park on Sunday, October 26 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM — and you’re invited!
This event will take place in the park’s greenhouse, where volunteers will help cultivate, pot, and prepare native plants that will later be used in restoration projects to rebuild Texas’ coastal prairies.
This is a family-friendly project open to all ages — no experience needed, just a love for getting your hands dirty for conservation!
