2025 Green Vest Give Back | Sheldon Lake State Park
On February 6, 2025, our third Green Vest Giveback took a new form — a donation made possible by our friends at LyondellBasell, honoring the incredible work being done every day at Sheldon Lake State Park.
Our partnership with Sheldon Lake State Park hit a milestone in 2024 with our first-ever large-scale corporate event: 60 volunteers joined us in restoring coastal prairie habitat through an ambitious planting effort. That day sparked more than just ecological growth — it started a conversation about how we could deepen our support. After a few calls and a lot of coordination, we were proud to help facilitate a $2,500 grant from LyondellBasell to fund future planting events at the park. While this Green Vest Giveback didn’t include the usual gift boxes or handwritten cards, it was rooted in the same purpose: recognizing and supporting the staff who make conservation happen every day. It was a gesture of thanks with roots that will continue to grow — just like the native prairie they protect.
