A Week for the Planet, A Year-Round Mission
This National Volunteer Week — April 20–26, 2025 — we’re teaming up with Engie North America and DNV to roll up our sleeves and restore two Houston-area state parks, proving that every hand helps when it comes to conservation.
With projects planned at Stephen F. Austin and Brazos Bend State Parks, we’re tackling real needs with real people: from painting and restoring park facilities to clearing and reopening vital trailways. These are family-friendly projects that invite our communities to connect with their parks — and each other. And on Earth Day itself, April 22, we’ll be celebrating something deeper: our belief that the outdoors builds more than just trails. It builds health, community, and a shared sense of responsibility. Partnering with Texas State Parks lets us support that mission at scale — not just through one week of action, but through a growing movement of volunteers, businesses, and advocates who believe that conservation is for everyone.
